Share your arts and services with Brampton's business community!



The Brampton Arts Council is pleased to once again host and sponsor the Brampton Board of Trade – “AFTER BUSINESS EVENT” on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

BAC MEMBERS, this is your opportunity to network with the business community and share ideas with your peers.  Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis from all BAC Individual members and member groups in good standing.  Space is limited.

NEW! HACE(TM) Mini Series Workshop



"Beyond the Basics - Social Media for Artists and Cultural Organizations"
(For Facebook & Twitter)

Saturday, February 22, 2014, 1 PM - 4:30 PM at the Brampton Golf Club
Due to incredible demand and astoundingly positive reviews at his last workshop “On-line marketing for VISUAL artists”, James Fowler has graciously agreed to return to present an extended workshop on using social media via Facebook & Twitter. (You do not have to be a visual artist to attend this workshop.)


Overview:
Developed for artists or people working in cultural organizations who use Twitter and Facebook to promote their work or organization's programs, this hands-on group workshop will show you how to get your messaging right and learn how to develop a great content plan, build and schedule inventory, manage your message and team workflow through a social media dashboard.

You will learn to incorporate linking & sharing tools to amplify your message and further build your audience. Learn to use in-platform applications and tools to work effectively and efficiently and get familiar with how each can best be used.  Get to know how to develop a sharp listening program through various online and in-platform monitoring tools. Learn to identify leads for event participants, membership and sales. Become familiar with various external and internal metrics tools to help identify which parts of your social media communications program are working and how to improve your initiatives. 

Please note:
1. Participants must bring: laptop/notepad computer c/w power cord and power bar to reach the nearest electrical outlet
.
2. Participants should have a Facebook Page and Twitter account in active use.
