Bravo! Awards 2011-2012 thanks you!

Thanks and kudos goes out to those who attended this past Friday’s packed Bravo! Awards. It wouldn’t have been a smashing success without you! BAC is already looking forward to an enthusiastic celebration of what this community has to offer for 2012-2013’s Bravo! season!

CALL FOR ARTISTS - ART IN THE OPEN

Less than a month left to get your application and interview set up for Brampton’s outdoor art & craft show and market, Art in the Open.


Deadline: May 22, 2012. CALL FOR ARTISTS/ARTISANS. The Brampton Arts Council is calling for artists and artisans at our annual outdoor show and market Art in the Open, a feature of the local Farmers’ Market. PART-TIME and FULL-TIME vendor positions are available for creators of hand-crafted, original works. Art in the Open takes place every Saturday, 7 am – 1 pm in downtown Brampton on the north-east corner of Main & Queen from June to October. Call for local musicians to participate during the 2012 Brampton Global Jazz & Blues Festival

Are you a MUSICIAN? You have a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the Art in Jazz - Global Jazz & Blues Festival. Art of Jazz will transform downtown Brampton into a hotbed of rhythm, improvisation, harmony and sophistication. With 4 days of major concerts, themed program, workshops, jam sessions, film debuts and more, this unique community celebration will be a meeting point for international jazz greats and music lovers alike. The Festival will be presented August 9th to 12th inclusive.

We would love to see our local musicians get involved.


SUBMISSIONS INFORMATION


Due to the high volume of applications to the festival, we recommend that submissions be thorough and complete. Please do not send originals as submission packages will not be returned under any circumstances.


Only the successful applicants will be contacted.
